Its Executive Director Willy Kambwandira was reacting to President Lazarus Chakwera's approval on the appointment of Dr Kondwani Santhe as the new Executive Director for NLGFC.
"We are calling upon the new boss to adopt perfomance based appraisal system that would push for effective district councils"Kambwandira said.
Board Chairperson for the council, Commissioner Richard Chapweteka has told us that Santhe went through all legal processes prior to his appointment.
"As a board we instituted all the required procedures inorder to hire a result oriented manager whose skills can improve operations of the district councils"Chapweteka added.
Dr Kondwani Santhe has a huge task ahead of him as the new Executive Director for the National Local Government Finance Committee amid complaints that district councils are performing below expections from Malawians.
