MHRC Spokesperson, Kate Kujaliwa, says their hands are legally tied to release the report.
“We made our submission before court and we are only waiting for a date when the inter-parte hearing can proceed.
“Yes, the case has taken time but we have to respect the law and we know that the date is set by the court and we are eagerly waiting for the court to give us that date,” she said.
The Judiciary is yet to speak on the matter.
In September this year, the Academy obtained the injunction restraining the Commission from releasing a report of an investigation into alleged sexual harassment by a teacher to a student.
