Wikise Summoned to Explain "Njoyako" Lyrics

Real estate company Altas Realtors has summoned its brand ambassador musician Wikise to discuss the future of their partnership after he released a song which the firm says is contrary to its values.

In the song, Njoyako, Wikise talks about the importance of people to enjoy life other than panic with long-term plans, and has lyrics like ‘K10, 000 is not enough to build a house, just enjoy it’.

Senior sales and marketing officer at Altas Realtors Laurent Kwakwala told Zodiak Online the song breaches the contract Wikise signed with the company.

The musician, whose real name is Frank Chawinga, confirmed he has been summoned to a meeting tomorrow but said he did the song just for entertainment and didn’t think it would have any implications on the contract.

In a letter to Wikise, which has leaked on social media, Kwakwala says, “These lyrics are not in tandem with the contract which you signed with Atlas Realtors company that you represent.”

Kwakwala told Zodiak Online in an interview that it is unfortunate that the letter, which was supposed to be confidential, has leaked.

Wikise denied to comment further on the issue, saying he needs to wait until tomorrow when he meets with representatives of the company.

The musician signed the ambassadorship contract with Atlas Realtors last year, according to the company, to influence the target market to buy its products and services by educating them of the same.

The song is currently trending on social media, especially TikTok.
