Patience Chatsika, Marketing and Corporate Affairs Manager for the insurance company, stressed the need for the people to be aware of the services that are at their disposal.

“We offer what we call end-to-end service which involves collecting the body from the point of death, store it and offer funeral service until the burial is conducted.

“We realized that there is a big gap in the market. When we offer funeral benefit, we still want our customers to still have an added advantage.

“Everyone is, therefore, free to come and participate in this service,” she said.

Clement Lungu from Kingfisher Insurance Brokers was impressed with what his eyes saw and his ears heard during the tour.

“It is a well-built mortuary. It shows that these people indeed identified the need for the people of Blantyre when they decided to come up with this structure.

“I’m encouraging everyone to seek their services for the love of their departed loved ones,” he said.
