25 Ethiopians Arrested in Chitipa For Illegal Entry
Police in Chitipa are keeping in custody 25 Ethiopians for allegedly entering the country without proper documents.
A Malawian has also been arrested for allegedly aiding the illegal immigrants.
Chitipa police station Deputy Public Relations Officer Rabson Mkandawire says the 25, and the Malawian, identified as 36-year-old Patrick Mshani were arrested at Lwaka hills in the district, where they were hiding.
According to police in the district, Mshani, comes from Ishalikila village in the area of Senior Chief Mwaulambya in Chitipa district.
