NICE Goes Social for FPE
National Initiative for Civic Education (NICE) Trust has started sensitizing masses about the ongoing voter registration exercise in readiness for the Fresh Presidential Election (FPE) on social media.
NICE Thyolo District Civic Education Officer, Moses Kaunda, told Zodiak Online that social media has proved to be effective forum to relay electoral messages.
“Within two days, we have managed to post voter registration messages to 27 WhatsApp groups in the district and I am sure these messages will reach out to masses,” said Kaunda
He further said they are also pasting elections’ posters in various designated places and moving around with a public address van sensitizing people in the district about the ongoing registration exercise.
