Some youths concerned with the negative impact of climate change in Balaka this Saturday evening bring shoulder to shoulder some veteran musicians to Maliachi lawns for a show aimed at raising funds for tree seedlings.

One of the organizers, Roselyn Ndanga, says the rains are around the corner and would like to purchase tree seedlings which the youth will plant.

"We have Gides Chalamanda, Charles Sineta, Joe Gwaladi, Alleluyah Band, Prince Martin Mvalamanja, Ishan Capital and sensational among others sharing Maliachi Lawns stage in Balaka for this reason," says Ndanga.

She says apart from assisting the youth towards this noble cause through the entry fee, people should expect a family entertainment.

Balaka is one of the districts facing the wrath of dry spells year in year out, leaving many households food insecure.
