Executive director for the organisation, Kondwani Mwendo Phiri, says a K1.5 million project dubbed 'Breaking the barriers of youth participation in governance at district and community level' will be implemented in the area of Senior chief Nchiramwera for the period of two months.

Mwendo-Phiri adds "the project that draws support from National Democratic Institute (NDI), seeks to find out the gaps and possible solutions on why most youths do not fully take part in development".

He believes the project which targets youth networks, will also consolidate relevant information which would inform a next course of action on issues that affect the youths in the district.

He has said this on Thursday after engaging the youths and other stakeholders in the district on the project.
