Councilor for Lisungwi ward, Mark Ngwangwa, has confirmed the death, saying she died yesterday afternoon at around 3 O'clock at her residence.

Her death has also been collaborated by some chiefs, one of them Group Village Headman Yoyola, who went to her residence to confirm her passing.

"Yes I can confirm that she has indeed passed away and burial arrangements are being made," he said.

She is known for her concoctions which drew people from all corners of Malawi and Africa.

Her body is expected to be laid to rest at Yoyola village under Senior Chief Symon in Neno district on Thursday.
