Two human traffickers from Chikwawa have been sentenced to 14 years imprisonment each in Thyolo for trafficking and offering to sell an eight-year old boy at K2 million.

The Mangochi Senior Resident Magistrate Court on Thursday October 27, 2022, convicted and sentenced Mpandileni Kassim, 43, a Malawian and his Mozambican accomplice, Usuman Sabiti, 19, to 7 and 3 years imprisonment with hard labour respectively for trafficking in persons.
