Thyolo Senior Resident Magistrate Assunta Maxwell on Tuesday reserved her bail ruling in an armed robbery case in which three people are being accused of stealing K53 million from a businessman this year.

Thyolo Senior Resident magistrate's court has sentenced Mayeso Mission aged 26 and John Nepiyala 26, to six years imprisonment while Medison Michael 28, to eight years for vandalising transformers belonging to the Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) in the district. 

Thyolo Senior Resident Magistrate Assunta Muwalo Maxwell has today sentenced three people; Christopher Namaona, Odala Makoto and Thokozani Michere to 19, 21 and 21 years   respectively on defilement charges.
