Ombudsman Probe Into Alleged Abuse of COVID19 Funds
Public protector, Martha Chizuma, is investigating alleged abuse of funds under the national COVID-19 response plan and other government interventions.
The Ombudsperson has since written the Ministry of Disaster Management Affairs demanding detailed information on how COVID 19 response plan funds are being used.
Spokesperson for the office of the Ombudsperson, Arthur Semba, said last evening that the action was ignited by a public outcry on alleged mismanagement of the funds.
