Poly Students Take to Social Media With Online Demonstrations

Malawi Polytechnic students have taken to social media on Tuesday with online demonstrations dubbed Help Poly needy students, Education for Tonse that are aimed at demanding authorities to bail out 2700 students that owe the college an excess of 350-million-kwacha.

Polytechnic President, Kunogza Mlowoka has told us that despite writing to relevant authorities including the Loans Board, Ministry of Education, and Finance and Parliamentary Committee, there has been no response to their concerns.

If the fee balances are not sorted according to College Authorities, students will have to wait for one more year.
