Woman, 34, Arrested For Faking Death of Her Daughter
Police in Lilongwe have arrested a 34-year-old woman after she faked death of her own daughter to get money.
The suspect, Caroline Mwale has been arrested today Monday afternoon at Kamuzu Central Hospital's mortuary.
Lilongwe police deputy relations officer sergeant Foster Benjamin says Mwale, whose husband is in South Africa, called her husband's relatives, informing them that her 13-year-old daughter had died at the hospital.
