15 Witnesses Lined up to Probe Death of Mtekama

The state says nine more witnesses are to testify in an inquest aimed at establishing the actual cause of death of Bob Mtekama, former head of the criminal investigations department at the Malawi Police Service.

Two witnesses testified this morning at the Lilongwe Magistrate Court, bringing the total number of witnesses that have testified this far to five.

The two, Senior Superintendent Master Nkhoma, Head of CID for the Southern Region, and Detective Sub-inspector, Dancun Gama denied knowledge of the real cause of Mtekama's death.
