PPDA Banks on EPS to Improve Efficiency

Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Authority (PPDA) is banking on its Electronic Procurement System to improve efficiency of Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

PPDA Director General Dr. Edington Chilapondwa said yesterday during a sensitization workshop for government procurement officers that, this will enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the operations of the electronic system.

Several Stakeholders have complained, some in front of the president over PPDA’s delays to process procurement documents.
