Police Officers Implicates President Mutharika in Albino Killings
A police officer who is among suspects in the murder of Macdonald Masambuka – a Person with albinism, yesterday told the court a list of people he claims are part of an albino killing syndicate.
Chikondi Chileka said President Peter Mutharika is part of the list.
Testifying before Blantyre High Court Judge Dorothy Kamanga, Chileka also implicated Dr. Hetherwick Ntaba who is being mentioned the second time after another suspect Alfred Yohane also named him.
Lawyer for the suspect Masauko Chamkakala of the legal aid Bureau could not be drawn to discuss much on the allegations made by his client in court.
Masambuka, 22, is believed to have been murdered in Machinga in April 2018.
