Mulanje District Hospital Rolls Out Paying Services

The District Hospital in Mulanje has rolled out optional paying services at the health facility with assurance that free services will not be compromised.

Senior Health Promotion Officer for the District Health Office Peter Nasoni told Zodiak that the opening of the paying facility delayed due to logistical challenges such as procurement of drugs and supplies for the facility.

Health Rights Activist Maziko Matemba has urged the District Health Office to operate the paying section in line with the operating guidelines set by the Ministry of Health.
