Minister Issues FISP Warning

Agriculture minister, Kondwani Nankhumwa, says companies that are not honoring awarded contracts to deliver farm inputs risk having their contracts terminated.

Nankhumwa told Zodiak Online government has not begun paying the 59 companies that were awarded these contracts.

He said no company will be paid for no work done.

This follows a report by the agriculture committee of parliament which, among other things, revealed that only six out of the 59 companies awarded contracts are delivering inputs.
