Ministry of education is uncertain of schools reopening next week in the southern region districts due to the extent of damage on some facilities like roads caused by the Tropical Cyclone Freddy.

Save the Children has disclosed that it is mobilizing resources totaling $1.8 million towards to support survivors of Cyclone Freddy which has devastated southern part of Malawi.
