Donors Implored to Change Their Narrative About Malawi Picture by Linda Tembo

National Planning Commission has advised the donor community to review their reporting style on Malawi’s development which discourages potential investors from coming to Malawi.

NPC Director General Dr. Thomas Munthali was speaking when the UN presented a UN75 report on "The World Malawi Wants" which he said generally paints Malawi as unattractive state for economic investments.

UN Resident Coordinator Maria Jose Torres has since committed to consider the concern by NPC, moving forward.
