Richotec, formerly Gestetner, has tipped companies and government departments to digitise their files using Docuware to improve on productivity with a simplified document filing system and accessibility.

The company’s managing director, Faizal Okhai, introduced the facility Docuware to business captains and IT experts in Blantyre, saying there is proof of capabilities in the work the company delivers.

He said: “Docuware is a journey of innovation and transformation offering a remarkable array of solutions that will serve as the compass of your digitisation journey.”

Okhai said, Docuware, offers document workflow management which proved its capabilities with Gestetner, which dealt with printers and paper, by streamlining processes that proved to be painful pain points for the company.

Richotec International pre-sales consultant, Taariq Martin says, apart from simplified access to information, the facility also helps to improve the documents' security from fire and unauthorised third party retrievals.

“Go paperless is the main message we are trying to get out there. Paper is expensive, it is not easily manageable. The documents are also fully protected in the cloud for security. We can also set up security routes in compliance with the privacy laws and policies, said Martin.

He added that the files can also be saved in a private cloud or data savers, while the company uses different Microsoft cloud facilities.
