SDA Church Urges Youths to Avoid Pleasures

The Seventh day Adventist Church (SDA) has implored youths to lead a Christ-centered life and refrain from the worldly pleasures in the last days.
The camp director, Master Guide Mcrish Chikondano, said it is time for the youth to draw closer to God.
"We are urging these youths attending this camp not to be taken away and refrain from the worldly pleasures in these last days," Chikondano said.
About 190 youths are attending a week-long joint Adventist Youth camp for Thyolo and Malamulo districts of the church at Nsuwazi Primary School.
One of the attendees, Pempho Kingsley Makina, said the youth engagement is timely as it has the ability to transform their lives.
The church organizes the periodic camps, mostly during school holidays to teach the Word of God and instill discipline in the youths.
