Maranatha Academy has offered scholarship to a 15-year-old boy from Kasungu who faced economic difficulties to further his secondary school education.

The Academy has granted Bizwin David the scholarship from Form 1 to Form 4 at the institution.

“As Maranatha Academy, we believe in promoting education in the country but we know we have got a number of people who cannot afford to pay school fees for their children. This is the reason we also assist many of them who cannot afford to pay school fees with scholarships,” said Dr. Ernest Kaonga, the Academy’s managing director.

David said in reaction to the gesture that “I am so grateful to Maranatha Academy for giving me this opportunity. I had nowhere to source funds for my school fees because l stay with my grandmother who has no capacity to raise money for my education.

“This is a great chance and l will work hard not to disappoint people who took part for this opportunity. Pemphero Mphande initiated everything and l say thank you Mr. Mphande.”
