The district's police deputy spokesperson, Sergeant Rabecca Kashoti, alleged that Stanley committed the offense on January 17, 2024 at Namichimba stream in the district.

Kashoti said the three met the suspect in the evening from the stream who dragged them into a nearby maize field where he defiled them in a row.

"It is alleged that on the evening of the said date the victims went to the said stream where they were following their relative who went earlier before them.

Whilst returning home they met the said suspect who dragged the little girls into a nearby maize field where he defiled them one by one," she explained.

She claimed that the suspect was caught red handed by a young boy passing-by after he heard one of the girls screaming in the maize field.

Stanley hails from Chibwana Village, in the area of Senior Chief Nchiramwera in the district.
