Men Shun HIV Testing in Neno

It has been revealed that men are shunning HIV testing services in Neno district with more women turning up for the services.

Barely a day after the first grade magistrate court in Neno district sentenced a twenty eight year old man Innocent Phiri to eight and six years in jail for defilement and rape, a seventy year old man is also in the cooler for defiling his thirteen years old granddaughter.

With cases of defilement and rape increasing daily in the country and despite receiving wide condemnation from different quarters of the society, some men are continuing with the vice.
