Blue Eagles FC has secured a one-year sponsorship agreement with World Star Betting, a move set to boost player motivation for the remainder of the 2025 TNM Super League season.

The deal, unveiled ahead of this weekend’s fixtures, includes a K100,000 cash prize for every Man of the Match selected from Blue Eagles’ games—an incentive designed to reward individual excellence within the team.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, World Star Betting Country Director Timothy Kandimba said the company identified Blue Eagles as a strategic partner in aligning their brand with sports excellence and community discipline.

"Blue Eagles is a disciplined and competitive side, and we believe this partnership will push both our brands forward. We’re introducing a K100,000 Man of the Match award for every game moving forward—this is our way of recognizing and rewarding outstanding individual performance,” said Kandimba.

Police Deputy Inspector General Noel Kaira, who represented the Malawi Police Service Inspector General welcomed the initiative and praised World Star Betting for investing in local football.

“We are grateful for this gesture, and it shows that corporate Malawi is starting to see the value of sports development. It is now up to the players to maintain discipline on and off the pitch as that will be key to sustaining this kind of support," said Kaira.

The partnership is expected to take effect immediately, with the first Man of the Match award to be presented after Blue Eagles’ next fixture against Silver Strikers on Sunday.
