Silver Strikers Football Club has secured a partnership with Malawi Catering Services Limited, a subsidiary of ADMARC, which will see the company supplying water to the Central Bankers for the remainder of the season.
Speaking during the partnership launch, Malawi Catering Services Limited General Manager Davie Kampeni said the company was convinced to accept the deal after considering the proposal presented by Silver Strikers.
“We accepted this partnership because we were impressed with the proposal from Silver Strikers. We believe this will be a win-win partnership for both parties, and we are also encouraging the club to help market our products whenever they have matches.”
Under the agreement, Malawi Catering Services Limited will provide 1,500 crates of Morning Dew water worth about K15 million to Silver Strikers for the remainder of the season.
Kampeni said the partnership will be reviewed at the end of the season, with the possibility of renewing the agreement.
“We will provide 1,500 crates of Morning Dew water, which is worth around K15 million, for the rest of the season. At the end of the season, we will sit down and review the partnership, and depending on the outcome, there is a possibility that we can renew it.”
Meanwhile, Silver Strikers Business Development Manager Uthenji Nyanda has hailed Malawi Catering Services Limited for what he describes as timely support to the club.
Nyanda said the partnership will significantly reduce the club's expenditure, revealing that Silver Strikers spends more than K30 million annually on water for all its teams.
“We are very grateful to Malawi Catering Services Limited for this timely support. This partnership will go a long way in reducing our costs because, as a club, we spend over K30 million every year on water for all our teams.”
Nyanda said the club values the partnership and hopes it will provide a foundation for a long-term relationship with Malawi Catering Services Limited.
“This is a partnership that we value, and we hope it will not just end with this season. We believe it can grow into a long-term relationship that will benefit both Silver Strikers and Malawi Catering Services Limited.”
