The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will meet operators to address industry chaos and dubious conducts threatening national security.
Chairperson Reverend Baxton Maulidi says the meeting stresses adherence to laws, following reports of unworthy aircraft registered under Malawi's name.
Reverend Maulidi notes the industry is "marred by chaos", hence the meeting to promote law and order.
The board has appointed Dr. Clement Mwale as Director General, described as a strategic leader to strengthen safety and regulatory oversight.
"I pledge to work collaboratively with stakeholders," Mwale said.
National Advocacy Platform (NAP) chairperson Benedicto Kondowe urges the board to disclose international airline partnerships to curb fraud.
This follows a 2025 incident involving an obscure airline suspected of illegally delivering Airbus planes to Iran.
There are over 70 aircraft registered in the country, and some have never operated in Malawi's airspace, according to Maulidi.
